Corporate Glossaries
Babylon's glossaries are data files based on a snapshot of data in your organization's information sources, such as ERP and CRM systems. Glossaries contain both HTML definitions and the indexes (source terms and their alternate forms) used to search for the information
Glossaries are easily created using tools supplied with Babylon-Enterprise. The extraction tool takes content from various corporate data information sources, such as SQL databases, ODBC data sources, XML files, LDAP/Active directories, or Microsoft Office files (Excel, Access), and creates snapshots of the information.
The customer has full control over the extraction process. In addition, Babylon offers the experience of our own Professional Services team to help customers produce corporate glossaries
Glossaries can reside centrally on the Babylon-Enterprise application server and be accessed by users through the network.
Corporate glossaries are distributed to clients by the Babylon-Enterprise application server. The server validates the user's authentication credentials and provides updates only for glossaries the user is permitted to view.
Babylon-Enterprise Client (User Questions)

To change the interface language of the Babylon-Enterprise window, do the following:
1. Right-click the Babylon-Enterprise icon to display the menu.
2. From the menu, select Configuration. Then click the Appearance tab.
3. From the list of languages under Interface Language | Show Messages and Dialogs, select your preferred language. Click OK.

The Glossary Options dialog box shows a list of all the glossaries that are available for use. When a glossary checkbox is selected, Babylon-Enterprise will search the glossary for results. When the checkbox is cleared, the glossary remains in the list, but will not be searched for results.
All glossaries are maintained on the Babylon-Enterprise server. The available glossaries are defined by the system administrators or other decision-makers in your organization
